Welcome to the official rules page for the #DesMoinesGroomingKing contest from Ashley Beauty Salon! We are excited to find and reward a deserving man in the Des Moines community with a premium VIP experience at our Men’s Grooming Lounge.

Below you will find all the details you need to successfully submit your nomination. For the main contest announcement, please see our posts on Facebook, Instagram and Tik-Tok.

Contest Period

The nomination period begins on October 8, 2025, and ends on October 29, 2025, at 11:59 PM Central Time.

How to Enter

To nominate someone for the #DesMoinesGroomingKing contest, you must complete all of the following steps:

• Follow Us: You must be following on one of our official accounts on the platform you enter on: Either on Facebook, Instagram or on Tik-Tok.

• Post a Photo/Video: Post a new, original photo or video to your personal social media feed featuring the person you are nominating.

• Tell Their Story: In the caption of your post, tell us why the person you are nominating deserves to be treated like a king. Share a heartfelt, creative, or compelling story about them.

• Tag & Hashtag: You must tag one of our official account Either (FB @ashleybeautysalonia – IG @ashleysbeautysalon01 – Tik-Tok @@ashleysbeautysalonia) in both the photo/video and in the caption. You must also include the official contest hashtag: #DesMoinesGroomingKing.

Eligibility

• Nominators and nominees must be 18 years of age or older. (You can nominate yourself)

• Nominees must be residents of the Des Moines, Iowa, metro area.

• Profiles must be public for the duration of the contest so we can see your entry.

• One entry per nominator.

Prize Details

One (1) winner will be selected. The winner will receive one (1) VIP Grooming Package at our Men’s Grooming Lounge, which includes:

• A thorough consultation

• A precision haircut and style

• A relaxing hot towel treatment

• A rejuvenating scalp massage

This prize is non-transferable and holds no cash value. The prize must be redeemed within 90 days of winner notification. You can learn more about our services at our Men’s Grooming Lounge page.

Winner Selection & Notification

The winner will be selected by the Ashley Beauty Salon team based on the nomination story that we deem the most compelling, creative, and heartfelt.

The winner will be announced via a post on our social media channels on or around October 24, 2025. We will also contact the nominator directly via direct message on the platform they used to enter.

General Conditions

By entering this contest, you grant Ashley Beauty Salon permission to share your photo, video, and caption on our social media channels and website for promotional purposes.
